**YOUR DAY-TO-DAY**
Team Management:
+ Supervise and train host/hostess staff.
+ Assign duties and responsibilities to the team members.
+ Conduct regular meetings to communicate updates, changes, and expectations.
Reservations:
+ Manage reservation systems efficiently.
+ Coordinate with the kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
+ Confirm reservations and communicate special requests to the appropriate departments.
Guest Services:
+ Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
+ Assist guests in making reservations and provide information about the menu, specials, and promotions.
+ Ensure prompt and efficient seating of guests.
+ Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
Seating Arrangements:
+ Organize and manage the seating chart.
+ Monitor and maintain an efficient table-turnover rate.
+ Ensure proper communication with servers to manage the flow of the dining room.
Communication:
+ Liaise with kitchen and waitstaff to manage table rotations and ensure timely service.
+ Communicate with management regarding any issues or challenges in the front-of-house operations.
Quality Assurance:
+ Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the reception area.
+ Monitor the overall dining room ambiance and address any issues promptly.
+ Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction.
Special Events:
+ Coordinate and manage special events, private parties, and large reservations.
+ Work with the events team to ensure seamless execution of special occasions.
**What we need from you**
+ High School or Vocational Certificate in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or related field
+ 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Obtained alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency
+ Able to read and write English
