**Job Description** + Managing new implementation projects that include Business analysis, understanding the business and banking requirements of the customer, creating solutions around the Core Banking functionalities, and Supporting the testing phases of the software for the customer. + Managing production support activities, application maintenance, and new change requests + Helping the team of onsite/offshore functional and technical consultants to understand the business needs of the customer and convert them into solutions. + Helping the customers to understand Core Banking solutions and features and translate them into workable solutions for the customer’s business needs. + Issue Management - Set up the tracking mechanism, Log, track, escalate and report issues to respective stakeholders. + Risk Management- Set up the tracking mechanism, Log, name, and characterize (Qualitative & Quantitative) risk, Seeks inputs as required (for complex risks: medium to high exposure risks), and propose a risk mitigation plan. Track, escalate, and report risks + Program Governance - Prepares the Program Management plan; secures the signoff with Program sponsors; Sets up implementation mechanisms + Client Management - Identifies relationship needs, explores relationship opportunities, formulates action plans, subordinates’ own area goals & monitors relationships; Contributes to definition of Business case & Program charter alignment. + Program Change Management - Receives change requests, facilitates impact analysis, schedules change control meetings, tracks the change request, and ensures the relevant documents are updated. + Contract Management - Identifies the contract parameters that have a material impact on program delivery; prioritizes the parameters; sets up controls to proactively identify contract adherence issues. + Vendor Management - identifies key partners both within and outside of contracts who have a material impact on the program. Builds formal & informal partnerships. **Responsibilities** Responsibilities include: + This is a customer-facing role; communicating, listening, and understanding the customer’s requirements is key to succeed + Manage/lead to deliver on-scope, on-budget, and on quality. When required, this person needs to jump into the project. + Running a large complex multi-year program across multiple divisions in the bank for a phase delivery option. + Defend/retain the business of existing clients + Drive strategic and solution selling on large opportunities that are characterized by a complex combination of technical, business, financial, and human resources issues related to the strategic and tactical direction of customers Experience: + At least five years of experience in a supervisory role such as team/project lead. The candidate should also have a minimum of five years in a customer-facing role. + Experience with banks and/or Core Banking solutions providers + Exposure to the implementation of Core Banking solutions in the banks will be an added advantage + Knowledge of banking application business domain will be an added advantage. + Knowledge of technical knowledge such as Oracle DB, Java, J2EE, etc. Career Level - IC5 **About Us** As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow’s technology to tackle today’s challenges.
