Job Details

The Accounting Manager will play a key role in overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and general accounting functions. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, adhering to SEC regulations, and supporting quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) filings. The ideal candidate has a strong background in GAAP accounting, SEC reporting, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC guidelines.
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely financial reporting.
Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to support audits, including SOX compliance requirements.
Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) in alignment with SOX regulations.
Research and implement new accounting standards and SEC regulatory updates as necessary.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations, to ensure consistency in financial reporting and disclosures.
Assist in preparing financial analyses, footnote disclosures, and management discussion & analysis (MD&A) sections.
Support technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition and lease accounting.
Lead and mentor accounting team members, fostering a high-performance work environment.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on SEC reporting and financial statements.
Experience in a publicly traded company or Big 4/public accounting firm preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and SEC reporting software.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present financial information effectively.
