Seeking an experienced Mine Administrator working with the Mining Department Team working 5/2 initially then 5/2/4/3 for the right candidate.

Monday to Friday (9-day fortnight to be considered for the right candidate)

About Our Client:
Our client is a leading Australian mining company, recognized as one of the largest coal miners and exporters globally. With numerous open-cut mine sites across the Bowen Basin, the company is a key player in the coking coal market.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mining Administrator to join our dynamic team at Rolleston Mine Site. In this key role, you will report directly to the Mining Manager and provide high-level administrative support to the mining department. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing data entry, purchasing, maintaining spreadsheets, reconciling and receipting invoices, and supporting the Mining Manager with reporting and improvement projects. This is a fast-paced and diverse position, offering the opportunity to work closely with leadership to develop team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Mining Manager and broader team.
  • Assist with daily operations including data entry, purchasing, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Coordinate and manage diaries, meetings, and scheduling.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy of data.
  • Support reporting requirements and related tasks.

Skill and Experience Required:

  • A highly emotionally intelligent and self-motivated approach to work.
  • A proactive, "can-do" attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles with advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • SAP experience is desirable.
