• Fixed term, Full Time position during Influenza Vaccination Campaign: from 7th April until 13th June 2025 (part time considered)
About the Role
You are accountable for providing clerical support to the Annual Influenza Vaccination Campaign & the Infection Prevention & Control Team (IPC). The Administration Assistant will be involved in administration duties for the team, clinic organisation, offsite bookings, email box management. The Administration Assistant will actively participate in the achievement of Hospital objectives whilst ensuring patient confidentiality is preserved at all times.
- Data entry and maintaining data from the Flu Vaccination Campaign & the IPC Team.
- Assists in the booking of clinics.
- Maintain high level of customer service and professional standards at all times.
Classifications for this position will range from HS1-HS14 ($58,442.80 - $60,782.80 per annum).
Your Contribution
- Previous administration experience in a health setting.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Current national criminal history check, or willing to obtain.
- Demonstrated ability to:
- effectively work autonomously.
- facilitate team outcomes in a multidisciplinary environment.
- communicate effectively, with patients and staff at all levels.

The Infection Control service has responsibility across all campuses of St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. You will be primarily located at the Fitzroy campus.
