Administration Assistant

Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of Marulan Works through providing Accounts Payable, Payroll & Administration Assistant support to the senior operation administrator.

Your day will involve:

  • Undertake accurate preparation and timely completion of all duties associated with the site's time and attendance system.
  • Operating and maintaining the site sign in computer system including entering of contractor inductions, issuing of employee/contractor security cards, and management of site security access.
  • Proactively addressing / responding to wages employees queries regarding payroll matters and providing effective resolution of tasks assigned / queries presented.
  • Assistance in coordination of WH&S training for all employees to ensure compliance of licensing requirements within the NSW WH&S Framework.
  • Raising and receipting purchase requisitions for goods, service and raw materials orders on a daily, monthly and ad-hoc basis.

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant formal Business Administration / Administration Assistant / Account Support / Payroll Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, documents.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and undertake tasks to achieve desired outcomes and deliverables. Ability to multi-task a must and to be able to operate at different levels in the organisation - depending on the requirements.
  • Capacity to facilitate the resolution of problems. Attitude to be part of the solution, not the problem.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, to exchange items of value achieving desired results. e.g.: interpersonal skills, written and oral communication, and managing conflict.
