Administration Manager, Sandalwood Feedlot - Dalby Qld

Sandalwood Feedlot is owned by Korean retail giant LOTTE and is a leading producer of high quality Wagyu beef for supply to LOTTE's retail businesses and other customers throughout the world. LOTTE's Sandalwood Feedlot is a 16,000 head operation, run in conjunction with a 1,514 hectare grazing and farming operation. The business is located 20km east of Dalby or less than an hour's drive from Toowoomba.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration Manager to oversee and streamline administrative operations across all departments within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong understanding of business processes, and the ability to effectively manage a diverse team. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify areas for improvement, implement efficient systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations and is a key member of the business's leadership team.

1. Provide leadership to Sandalwood office staff to support the efficient operation of the feedlot business.
2. Lead a continuous improvement program to simplify and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of all administrative processes within the business.
3. Oversee feed commodity and livestock administration.
4. Supervise feedlot based accounting responsibilities, including AP, AR and Capital Expenditure.
5. Manage and assist other staff to carry out HR, Quality Assurance, IT and marketing responsibilities.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills/qualities:

1. A knowledge of agriculture, and specifically the beef feedlot industry.
2. Proficient in the use of FY3000, StockaiD and Xero software, and Employment Hero Platforms.
3. Strong self-motivation and organisational skills.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. The ability to supervise & support other staff and delegate tasks.
