About the Role:

This is an exciting fixed-term opportunity to join our Workforce Engagement team and provide essential administrative support in the dynamic and impactful position of Administration Officer. You'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities, serving as the main point of contact for workforce engagement tasks across the organisation. In this role, you will assist both current and prospective team members by responding to their queries, providing helpful information, and ensuring clear communication. If you're a proactive, detail-oriented communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a tangible difference in a collaborative team, this role offers the perfect opportunity for you. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Position (0.8EFT).

A full list of key duties is outlined in the Position Description, but includes responsibilities in:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases in relevant systems;
  • Manage related inboxes, responding to queries where appropriate and redirecting correspondence to the appropriate person;
  • Support the coordination of the end-to-end recruitment process including processing applications, coordinating interviews, organising related safety screening checks, onboarding and filing of required information for audit purposes;
  • Support all other Workforce Engagement processes and procedures as required;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases in relevant systems.

Do your skills include:

  • High level administration and time management skills;
  • A proactive approach and with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, including flexibility in adjusting to changing priorities;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of appropriate legislation and the ability to adhere to policy and procedures;
  • Proven ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements for employee and organisational information;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to demonstrate experience in liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders;

Are your credentials:

  • A minimum qualification of a certificate or related qualification in Business, Administration or Human Resources.
  • If working towards a relevant qualification or qualified in an unrelated field, have the ability to demonstrate substantial experience in a similar role.
  • A current Drivers Licence.
