Administration Officer

Impact Community ACADEMY is a new, special assistance high school opening for students in Term 2 2025. The Impact Community ACADEMY delivers learning through a wellbeing lens, providing learning that has the potential to challenge mindsets, encourage growth and transform lives in a way that allows young people to be more adaptable and resilient as they enter adulthood. Impact Community ACADEMY is seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our small team. As a full-time team member, you will be responsible for the management of administrative functions.

1. Providing reception services and managing school enquiries, including school tours
2. Managing student enrolments and new student interviews
3. Recording data using the school's management system (Compass Education)
4. Providing First Aid and maintaining the student medication register and First Aid room
5. Giving administrative support to the Principal and maintaining insurance policies, subscriptions and accounts
6. Board Secretariat including governance processes, agenda preparation, meeting attendance and minute taking
7. Assisting the Principal to prepare government and statutory authority returns
8. Helping the Principal with management and coordination of resources, facilities and grounds

1. Experience in an administrative role within the school sector
2. First Aid and CPR qualification or willingness to obtain
3. Demonstrated achievements in school compliance and administration
4. Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
5. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
