About the role

Are you a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a knack for multitasking and problem-solving? We are looking for a proactive and team-oriented individual who can manage a variety of tasks, work independently, and support the overall objectives of the Procurement branch. This role will provide vital administrative support to the Procurement and Commercial Services Contract Management teams - Panel Management, and Fleet Vehicle Services teams.

Your day-to-day will involve providing essential administrative assistance to the Contract Management Manager, handling scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes for key meetings. You'll also be at the heart of managing panel supplier details, maintaining panel arrangements in the PTA Contract Management System, and supporting critical records management processes.

On top of that, you'll ensure the smooth administration of contract securities between PTA and contractors, help maintain accurate contract records, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. You will also assist the Fleet Vehicle Management team with a range of services, from managing vehicle booking and logbook tracking to overseeing email and hardcopy correspondence, all while monitoring essential IT systems.

About You!

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience in the use and application of a PC including the ability to undertake spreadsheet tasks, and manage large volumes of emails for several inboxes and team.
  • Sound written communication skills, including the ability to draft routine correspondence.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet targets.

There is currently a 28-month fixed term opportunity available for immediate start, with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.
