Administration Support to Volunteer Program (volunteer)

To provide support to the ASC Volunteer Program - (volunteer position)

25th February, 2025

Purpose / Objective

To provide administrative support and coordination in the delivery of recruitment, induction, and recognition of volunteers.

Service Area: People & Culture (Volunteering Program)

Commitment Period: 3 months minimum - ongoing

Reports to: Volunteer Co-ordinator

Days and hours required per week: 4 hours per week (flexible) - In-office.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Line Managers & Direct Coordinators in new volunteers recruitment & onboarding.
  • Assist in advertising, shortlisting, and interview booking for volunteer positions need to be filled.
  • Maintain databases and undertake any other administrative duties.
  • Assist in lunch calendar booking.
  • Actively support the ASC volunteering program activities & events if needed.
Selection Criteria
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced oral & written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to contribute in process improvement.
  • Experience / understanding in administration and/or volunteer support and coordination of activities in a workplace environment.
  • Ability to navigate through and manage several database, CRM, and recruitment CRM systems, spreadsheets, drafting documents and correspondence.
  • Experience in participating in events planning & management is desirable.
