About the Role:
In this 2IC role, you will support the Service Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the Service in line with company policies and procedures, meeting compliance and operation targets. You will model creativity and innovation, motivate, and lead a team of Educators to create a positive and fun working space. In this role, you will design and implement engaging learning programs and work collaboratively while also providing confident support and motivation within your team of Educators. You will also maintain excellent relationships with families, children, and team members. At Sparrow Early Learning Malvern Springs, we offer a nurturing environment with four spacious studios, each designed to foster the emotional development, independence, and socialisation of our little ones. We believe in the power of 'self' and support our children to develop a strong sense of who they are, both as individuals and as part of a community.
What you'll need:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
- Minimum 1 year experience in a current Second in Charge role
- Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Confidence when communicating with all levels of management
- A strong ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive culture within our service
