About the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (the NDIS Commission) is an independent agency established on 1 July 2018 to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services. The NDIS Commission is the dedicated national regulator of NDIS service providers in Australia and a non-corporate entity under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.
About the Practice Quality Division
The NDIS Commission Practice Quality Division's role is to ensure NDIS funded providers work effectively to reduce and eliminate the use of restrictive practices on people with disability.
We are looking to recruit appropriately experienced people with a passion for upholding human rights to help us regulate NDIS funded providers and consider the suitability of behaviour support practitioners and the implementation of the Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
You will work within a multi-disciplinary team focused on reducing and eliminating the use of restrictive practices by engaging providers through education, practice guidance and, where necessary, targeted compliance activities.
