Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Attorney, you will be responsible for:

1. Handling a variety of complex legal matters related to insurance.
2. Managing cases from inception to conclusion, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and depositions.
3. Making regular court appearances and demonstrating exceptional litigation skills.
4. Researching and writing on various legal issues to support case preparation and business development initiatives.
5. Providing mentorship to junior associates and playing an active role in the associate committee.
6. Utilizing your strong academic credentials to further enhance the reputation and credibility of our legal team.
7. Participating in business development training to help expand our client base and services.
8. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in state and federal laws and court procedures.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this exciting role, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Insurance Attorney.
3. Extensive experience in case management and litigation.
4. Proven experience in drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and depositions.
5. Solid experience in making court appearances with a good understanding of state and federal court systems.
6. Strong research and writing skills.
7. Excellent academic credentials.
8. Experience in business development training and mentorship.
9. Membership in the associate committee of a reputable legal organization.
10. Strong skills in legal research and writing.
11. Trail experience is a plus.
12. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
13. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
