About the Role:
The Business Support Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation across the Aurizn Group. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to team members and their work, assisting with client communication and compliance, managing office procedures, and maintaining a professional and organised office environment in our Adelaide CBD office. This role might suit somebody that wants to work school hours, 5 days a week.
Key responsibilities:
- Executive and Senior Leader Support
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient business support, including but not limited to: timesheet reporting, maintaining officer registers, travel administration, and meetings and catering.
- Prepares and edits correspondence, reports, presentations and confidential correspondence.
- Provides quality customer service for internal and external customers including answering telephone and email enquiries.
- Ordering stationery and uniforms, preparation of welcome boxes and managing merchandise stock levels.
- Supports and performs administrative requirements for various committees.
- Coordinates and undertakes booking of travel, catering, events, special functions and meetings as required.
- Maintains administration systems, including diaries, records, mail, filing and archiving of records.
- Coordinates and undertakes maintenance of office and kitchen supplies/area, and organising facilities management.
- Undertakes other duties, as required in support of Finance, Marketing and the People & Talent teams.

What we are looking for:
- Eligibility for a baseline defence clearance (Australian Citizenship may be requirement).
- Proven experience in providing accurate and timely administrative support up to Senior Management level, including experience in dealing with confidential matters.
- Strong preference for experience in full Microsoft office suite, collaborative tools such as Slack and Confluence (or similar technology).
- Not essential but desirable to hold a current first aid certificate.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels and working as part of a team.
- Strong organisational, time management and planning skills.
- Flexible, reliable and adaptable with demonstrated strengths in following instructions and prioritisation of daily and weekly tasks.
