About The Role:

As the Chief Finance Officer and Chief Procurement Officer you will lead and manage the activities of the Financial Services function. You will provide high level strategic leadership and direction to the delivery of contemporary financial accounting, budget management, procurement, fleet management and business services.

In this pivotal role, you will lead a high-performing team that is committed to quality customer service and advice, teamwork, equity, integrity and continuous learning. The role recognises opportunities to enhance service delivery and builds and sustains relationships at senior levels to effect change.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with demonstrated relevant financial acumen. You will have proven experience leading financial, accounting, and procurement functions and thrive at leading high-performing teams. You will be someone who establishes a clear vision and plans, responds positively to change and uncertainty, and manages risks effectively. Your leadership skills will champion contemporary people management practices, foster collaborative behaviour and you communicate complex information clearly to engage and influence stakeholders.

As a key senior leader at Finance, the Chief Finance Officer will embrace and exemplify our values.

This position is a Multiple Area Leader . This means that you will lead leaders to achieve the strategic direction of a number of different functions and priorities. You will implement operational strategy and take the lead for shaping its short and medium-term directions. You will contribute strategic value by determining the focus areas for delivery through a broader lens and determine the timing of future growth for your area of responsibility.
