ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
As a Clinical Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative processes within the clinical setting. Your responsibilities will include data entry, roster generation, and liaising with nursing staff to manage scheduling and leave requirements. You will also handle correspondence, transcribe and proofread documents, arrange meetings, maintain records and databases, and manage office supplies and requisitions. Additionally, you will facilitate invoice payments, support asset maintenance, and ensure all clerical duties are carried out efficiently while upholding confidentiality and accuracy.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring proven experience in clerical support, with strong proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications. Excellent keyboard skills, along with experience in data entry and retrieval, are essential. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. The role demands strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently, as well as a high level of discretion in handling confidential information. Prior experience in a public sector or health setting is advantageous but not required.
