The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in Blayney.
We are seeking a friendly volunteer to visit an elderly lady living at home in Blayney. She enjoys tapestry, knitting, spending time with her little dog and would like to meet someone to visit for a cuppa and chat.
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
