Consultant - Paediatric - Intensive Care
Salary: MP Year 1 - 9 $352,448 - $448,210 p.a. pro rata (inclusive of base salary & applicable allowances)
Location: Perth Children's Hospital, Nedlands
Unit/Division: Surgery/Paediatric Critical Care Medicine
This is a Fixed Term Part Time appointment for twelve (12) months at 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE), with the possibility of extension(s).
Position Profile: We are seeking an experienced, passionate and friendly individual to join our Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. The successful candidate will provide a specialist medical/surgical service to patients, promoting patient quality and safety. You will also provide leadership, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training and other health workers in collaboration with other Consultants and the Clinical Director/Head of Department.
Eligibility to apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
This position is subject to a Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) Check.
