About the role
The vulval dermatology clinic is part of a wider multi-disciplinary vulval service providing gynaecological, dermatological, and physiotherapy and sexual counselling services for women with a wide range of vulval disorders.
This role will involve 1 clinic per month leading the vulval dermatology clinic alongside another dermatologist and the rest of the vulval MDT. The responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing a high level of care for women attending the clinic.
- Working closely with all members of the MDT in the shared care of patients.
- Supervising trainee doctors including a dermatology trainee and the vulval fellow.
- Teaching medical students.
- Providing consults for ward patients when requested.
About you
Experience/Qualifications/Competencies - Must hold or be eligible for registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia.
- Attained Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
