About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee and manage all lease, licence, and service agreements across SSCT precincts and venues.

You'll also assist various SSCT teams with negotiations, supplier agreements, and procurement planning, ensuring all processes align with Victorian Government policies and regulations.

As the Contract Manager your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing contracts across SSCT venues, including goods, services, leases, and licences
  • Monitor contractor performance and compliance with service level agreements
  • Oversee contract expirations, renewals, and facilitate renegotiations
  • Conduct market reviews, benchmarking, for commercial negotiations
  • Lead procurement processes and collaborate with subject matter experts on scoping, pricing, commercial requirements, and delivery timelines
  • Develop and maintain a contract management framework, including policies, templates, and reporting systems
  • Serve as the escalation point for contract-related issues and support resolution efforts
  • Maintain accurate records of all contracts and communication
  • Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on contract performance

Required skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in contract management, ideally across both commercial and public sectors
  • Strong background in contract management frameworks, performance monitoring, and compliance
  • Experience in procurement and tendering, including reviewing proposals and ensuring compliance with Victorian Government regulations
  • Qualifications in law, business, procurement, or a related field
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence in advising on commercial, property, and contract management matters
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Victorian Working With Children's Check (Employee)
