Salary: Level 4, $92,098 - $96,660 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2024)

Infrastructure Operations are seeking to establish a pool of Contracts Support Officer for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2025 and up to the end of March, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Infrastructure Division has responsibility for the strategic management of the education infrastructure portfolio including land, buildings and facilities. Infrastructure leads the planning, construction and maintenance of school buildings and supporting facilities and the provision of facilities related services.

The Role

As a Contracts Support Officer, you will play a key role in managing Facilities Contracts, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and service delivery outcomes. You will undertake contract administration, maintain contract management databases, and process payments in line with relevant requirements. Supporting school stakeholders, you will provide advice, training, and guidance on contracted services while ensuring compliance with legislation and departmental policies. Additionally, you will contribute to policy development, research best practices, and support the Strategic Asset Services Branch with key initiatives.

This role also involves building strong relationships with school leaders, department managers, and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery and continuous improvement. You will contribute to change management projects, participate in performance development activities, and support the achievement of strategic goals within the Directorate. Your ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different functions will ensure effective contract management and the delivery of high-quality services to schools.
