About the Role:
As a Contracts and Tender Administrator, you are responsible for preparing, reviewing, coordinating and leading our contracts and tender process for Applied Medical Australia and New Zealand in a timely manner and according to internal and external procedures, liaising with customers and other departments across the organisation ensuring compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the contracts and tender process
- Maintain relationships and timely communication with key stakeholders
- Understand and follow Applied Medical's Quality Systems per training
- Follow safety requirements and company policies and procedures
- Implement and maintain relevant data, prices, and contracts in the appropriate systems
- Participate in negotiation and review of contracts and tenders, informing relevant departments
- Monitor the Contracts inbox
- Understand and identify any risks and liabilities within the proposed tender or contract requirements
- Identify tender opportunities, cascading the tender requirements to relevant teams or departments, and tender planning
- Preparation and communicating of various reports and analysis
- Fill-in and compile documentation, submit the offer, follow up on the tender or contract progress and act as a reviewer for the tendering or contracting processes of peers.
- Act as a contact person for contracting authorities and a reference point for questions and advice
- Understand and comply with the policies, standards of the purchasing organisation, and national or local regulations and acquire and maintain knowledge of local public procurement regulations
- Train and guide members of the team on relevant procedures, work instructions etc.
- Report relevant issues and make suggestions for improvement
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2+ years demonstrated experience in contract administration or similar role
- Experience working within international and fast-paced environments
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to adapt to new situations and to let go of initial objectives if necessary
- Analytical and systematic in identifying potential problems
- Capable of understanding complex legal and procurement documentation in native language and English
- Ability to work independently and a team player as part of a team to solve problems.
- Experience using contract management software
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively review other considerations in the delivery of the tasks
- Work effectively under strict, meaningful regulations
- Develops and uses tools to plan and organize their own time effectively
- Monitors the progress of tasks and activities, and keeps manager informed of progress
- Work collaboratively in a team environment that encourages suggestions for improvement as well as creating a cohesive team atmosphere
- Confident written and oral communicator, with proven ability to engage and build relationships with other team members and stakeholders
