Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 per year

Job Details

Position Summary: The Controller will oversee all accounting functions of the organization including general ledger and month-end close, job costing, AP, AR, Payroll, and compliance.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Manage 6 person accounting team
Oversee general ledger accounting and job costing
Oversee AP, AR, and Payroll
Ensure timeline and accurate accounting and close
Ensure compliance with regulation and internal controls
Prepare and distribute financial statements
Review financial statements and reconcile accounts
Manage audit and tax processes
Mitigate risks by coordinating with benefits and insurance personnel
Financial reporting
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
Construction industry experience
8+ years accounting experience
2+ years accounting leadership experience
Multi-entity experience
ERP system knowledge
US GAAP understanding
Strong Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

CPA
Sage Intact
