Our dynamic organization is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Permanent Controller to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to our fast-paced, growth-oriented business environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting and financial operations, including property accounting, CAM recs, CAM reconciliations, and software like Yardi and MRI. With a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, you will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial and accounting operations, including but not limited to property accounting, CAM recs, and CAM reconciliations.
2. Utilize and manage software tools, such as Yardi and MRI, to streamline financial processes and provide accurate reporting.
3. Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly and annual statements, to the executive team and stakeholders.
4. Develop and implement financial strategies, including budgeting and forecasting, to optimize financial performance and strategic position.
5. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
6. Collaborate with the executive team to make informed financial decisions.
7. Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Lead the annual financial audit process, liaising with external auditors and managing the preparation of all necessary materials.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a strong understanding of property accounting, CAM recs, and CAM reconciliations.
3. Proficiency in using financial software, such as Yardi and MRI.
4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a commitment to developing team members.
6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in clear terms.
7. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make informed financial decisions.
8. High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
