Business Services - Customer and Digital Services Customer Service/Call Centre

  • 3 Fixed Term positions available (9 day fortnight)
  • Highly developed skills in administration, cashiering and computing, including keyboard accuracy.
  • Salary LGO 3 ($71,806 - $77,515 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications and experience.

About the Role

These positions play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to a broad range of customers across multiple contact channels and locations and working collaboratively across Council to champion our purpose of Growing Townsville and to deliver the Corporate Plan in consultation with the Townsville Community.

Ensuring a high level of customer service and professionalism is provided to the community and council customers by effectively managing customer enquiries, service requests, applications, and transactions across multiple service delivery channels.

3 fixed term positions available ranging from 3 months to 15 months in length.

About You

Our ideal applicant will have experience working in customer service or records management roles in large and diverse organisations with strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to organise and communicate information clearly through a variety of customer contact channels.

The Council contribution to employees' superannuation for contributing employees shall be 13.5% of the employees' ordinary time earnings subject to the employee contributing a minimum of 6% of their ordinary time earnings.
