The opportunity: As the Cyber Security Specialist for our Advanced Energy Management System (AEMS) project, you will play a crucial role in managing Operational Technology (OT) cyber security risks, providing situational awareness, responding to security incidents, and ensuring conformance to industry standards. You'll be a key player in ensuring the high availability of our AEMS and other critical operational technology environments.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Provide expert cyber security advice to achieve business outcomes
- Respond to cyber security incidents under the guidance of the Team Leader
- Support OT teams in determining the security requirements for application and infrastructure technologies
- Manage system and application patching, firmware management, and perform risk and vulnerability assessments
- Ensure adherence to the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) legislative requirements
What you'll bring: - Degree qualification in Engineering or IT
- Cyber security accreditations (i.e CISSP, CCNA or GIAC)
- ITIL certification is desirable
You will have proven experience in applying cybersecurity knowledge to an OT environment. You will be highly analytical and be able to undertake in-depth threat analysis, static and dynamic analysis, reverse engineering, and network forensics.
You can resolve cyber security incidents promptly and effectively, and have hands-on experience with IP networking cyber security tools such as Next Generation Firewalls, Network IDS/IPS, and network traffic-based anomaly systems.
Knowledge of frameworks and standards such as AESCSF, ISA/IEC 62443, or NIST SP 800-82 is also required.
You will thrive in stakeholder management and be a Cyber Security ambassador for the organisation.
