Job Description

We are looking for a talented Design Manager with a passion for the retail or hospitality industry. The Design Manager will lead the implementation of our store design guidelines across various projects. With plans to open 30+ restaurants each year in Australia, the Design Manager will play an integral part in our growth's success.

What you can expect:

  1. Innovate and support the conceptual design of new stores and refurbishments
  2. Timely completion of projects, on-time deliverables, and adherence to budgets
  3. Generate feasibility plans and internal designs for GYG store formats
  4. Collaborate with internal teams, external designers, and suppliers to ensure brand consistency and high-quality project delivery
  5. Improve cost effectiveness through value engineering and efficient project management

You'll enjoy this role if you have:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or similar
  2. 6+ years' of commercial design experience in retail or hospitality
  3. Familiarity with construction industry budgets and documentation
  4. Proficient in AutoCAD and various design software programs
  5. Excellent communication and people management skills
  6. Willingness to travel as required
