Position Summary
The candidate will be accountable for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of services, ensuring their reliability, performance, and security. This role requires close collaboration with development, operations, and other teams to deliver high-quality services that meet the organization's business needs.
Mandatory Skills
- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in cloud services like AWS, and Azure
- Configuration Management: Experience with tools like Chef, and Ansible
- Containerization and Orchestration: Knowledge of Docker, and Kubernetes
- CI/CD Pipelines: Expertise in setting up and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Monitoring and Logging: Skills in using monitoring tools
- Security and Compliance: Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
- Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Roles And Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments
- Manage and maintain continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools, including Jenkins, to facilitate efficient software development and deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for DevOps processes and systems.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Implement infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform.
- Manage secrets and sensitive data using Hashicorp Vault.
- Utilize Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, for project management and team collaboration.
- Automate configuration management processes using Chef.
Salary Range: >$100,000
