Job Description
Genuine Parts Company seeks Staff Engineers Digital Store Solutions in Atlanta, GA. Responsible for cross-organizational efforts required to introduce applications and infrastructure changes into the production environment. Develops execution plans which consider all potential system, application and data changes, and user requirements. Responsible for ensuring all changes are delivered to users while maintaining the integrity and availability of the existing systems. Communicates release expectations across all impacted users. Must have Bachelor's degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology-driven field. Must have 8+ years software engineering experience including experience in Core Java, Microservices Architectures, SQL and NOSQL data sources. This role is being offered with a Hybrid Telecommuting Option, with the position requiring work onsite at our Atlanta, GA HQ office as required by manager, and remote work otherwise permitted. While the Company prefers the person live in the Atlanta, GA, metro area, it is not required.
