The partners that lead this employment team are well known and well respected and are a 'go to' team. This team acts for household name employers, employer groups, C-Suite employees as well as employers in the government sector.
Due to a strong pipeline of work and as part of their strategic plans, they are looking for an experienced employment lawyer with at least 3 years plus pae.
This team has acted in all courts and tribunals e.g. Fair Work Australia, the NSW Supreme Court, Federal Circuit Court and the Federal Court of Australia. A flavour of the work will include: unfair dismissals, terminations, industrial disputes, workplace investigations, advising on redundancies, advising on discrimination, diversity, bullying etc.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role is:
- 3+ years' PAE and experience in a well-regarded firm, government or in-house environment in the area of employment law.
- Lawyers with commercial litigation experience who want to pivot into the employment law are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A pragmatic, proactive and solutions-focused outlook.
- A desire to work on challenging and fulfilling matters and build relationships with clients.
