About the role
We're looking for a talented Executive Producer to join our award-winning podcast team! This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead the production of entertainment and business content within Australia's largest women's podcast network. As an EP, you'll be the creative force behind our shows, combining your production expertise with strategic thinking to create compelling content that resonates with our audience of millions. This role also offers the opportunity to develop your on-air skills through reading news headlines. This is the perfect blend of hands-on production, creative development, strategic audience growth, and on-air experience.
Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:
- Lead end-to-end production of podcasts, from research and briefing to recording and distribution
- Create and deliver engaging headlines and news briefings for trending topics, including on-air presentation
- Develop new show concepts and produce pilot episodes
- Work closely with hosts to enhance show quality and performance
- Source and book diverse, relevant guests that our audience will love
- Track show performance and implement strategies for audience growth
- Ensure seamless integration of commercial partnerships
- Collaborate with our editorial and social teams on cross-promotion opportunities
Now, a bit about you
- You have 5+ years of experience in podcast, TV, or radio production
- You're a proven content creator with a track record of producing high-quality podcasts
- You have excellent editorial judgment and know what makes content shareable
- You're proficient in audio editing software (Adobe Audition preferred)
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and love solving problems creatively
- Previous hosting or on-air experience would be highly regarded
- You're passionate about creating content that resonates with women
