ACCORD CARE is trusted in the provision of person-centred disability support services to NDIS participants. We provide Supported Independent Living, In-home care, Community Participation, Short-Term Accommodation, Community Nursing, and Allied Health Services.
About the role
We are looking for Female team members in our supported independent living arrangements in North Lakes to provide 24/7 support in the home and out in the community.
The support worker's role and responsibilities will include:
- Supporting people with personal care and day-to-day activities in the home and out in the community
- Providing positive behaviour support to our clients
- Completing appropriate documentation through shift notes, incident reporting and data collection
- Contributing to the team's overall objective of providing the best outcomes for our clients
- Working with your team leader to implement and review plans around daily service provision
- Maintaining a professional relationship with clients and adhering to the NDIS and company code of conduct
- Above all, being responsive, reliable and accountable to our clients and your team

Qualification/Experience:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or Higher (or the ability to acquire an appropriate qualification)
- Mental Health Experience
- Problem-Solving Skills
- Challenging Behavior Experience
- Verbal/Written Communication and Relationship Building Skills
