What we are looking for:
Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for providing top-notch customer service? We have an exciting opportunity for 2x Fleet Administration Officers to join our dynamic Infrastructure Services team at the Fraser Coast Regional Council.
What your day will look like
As the Fleet Administration Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our fleet management function. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support, managing fleet-related systems, assisting with purchasing and finance tasks, and maintaining high levels of customer service. You'll be instrumental in coordinating fuel usage, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring compliance with Council policies.
What you'll need for success:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or similar or appropriate experience.
- Experience in an administrative focused position with developed computer skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation.
- Strong problem solving and organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst exercising initiative, judgement and enthusiasm.
- Sound research, analytical and problem-solving skills including a demonstrated ability to think laterally and plan and prioritise work to achieve required outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision and to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external clients.

- Previous experience within a fleet procurement environment.
