Full Stack Developer

DFP Recruitment is seeking a Full Stack Developer for one of our State government clients. The developer provides sound, technical and professional advice, and actively contributes to development, planning, system documentation, and reporting.

1. Understand the business requirements that are captured as User stories and seek clarification if required.
2. Work with the development team and solution architect to determine the most suitable solution.
3. Provide estimates on the development of user stories in the backlog.

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance the source code for the Project.
2. Contribute to the review and improvement of the development process.
3. Ensure that Continuous Integration practices like build, test, and deploy are followed.

1. Contribute to unit, integration, performance, and functional testing.
2. Record issues/bugs identified through the testing process.

1. Collaboration, contribution, ownership, accountability, negotiation, problem-solving skills, simple sustainable solutions, and helping each other.
2. Proven experience developing throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
3. 5 years of front-end development experience as a minimum, with experience in:
1. Modern front-end frameworks, preferably VueJS.
2. Web front-end technologies including CSS, Javascript, Typescript, and modern javascript frameworks.
4. IT Application Development experience with applications as a minimum.
5. Preferable experience developing applications in OpenShift and SpringBoot.
6. Cloud development experience would be an advantage.
7. Understanding of Agile principles and the associated methods.
8. Understanding of Test-Driven Design (TDD) with unit, integration, performance, and functional testing.
9. Strong written, verbal, customer service, and analytical skills are required.
