The Head of Counselling is a role combining clinical expertise, strategic oversight, and team coordination. The position ensures the delivery of exceptional counselling, wellbeing, and allied health services aligned with Chevalier College's pastoral care structure and industry best practice. It requires a balance between clinical duties, team management, and supporting the Assistant Principal - Wellbeing and Growth in the development of proactive wellbeing initiatives for students
Candidates will have a proven ability to deliver evidence-based counselling and therapeutic interventions for adolescents and experience supervising and managing multidisciplinary teams. They will be familiar with creating and implementing wellbeing programs for educational settings and bring expertise in psychological assessments, case formulation and reporting
Essential Qualifications and Registrations:
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a psychologist (general or provisional).
Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Current driver's licence
