Job Description

Join our highly rated Equity Research team in Sydney and lead our healthcare sector coverage. As a seasoned healthcare professional, you will contribute to thought leadership, provide investment advice to investors, engage with senior industry leaders, and guide and mentor our talented analysts.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for analysing individual companies and the broader healthcare sector, as well as producing insightful reports and recommendations. As part of your role, you will be generating ideas, engaging with listed and unlisted companies, and marketing your research to Macquarie clients and internal stakeholders.

What you offer
  • 10+ years of experience in sell-side research, M&A, Corporate Development, or Consulting, in the healthcare sector
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or an Economic discipline and CA or CFA qualified, alternatively you may come from the medical sector, with a strong interest in building a career in finance
  • Strong analysis and modelling skills with a deep understanding of market drivers
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and client engagement abilities.
