What your days might look like
We're looking for a full-time, permanent addition to our Sales team. Reporting to our GM, ANZ Revenue, you will be responsible for leading our large Account Executive function across Australia.
The successful applicant will lead a team of 4 AE Managers and in turn 40 AEs across Australia, and be responsible for helping us continue to scale our largest revenue market. You will be responsible for the overall sales performance of the Australian market, as well as identifying and executing on key strategic priorities.
This role will require a high level of cross-functional collaboration with teams like Commercial Operations, Marketing, CX and the wider Sales function, and being able to influence change across these teams will be crucial.
Employment Hero is a remote first company, so the successful applicant can be located anywhere on AEDT timezone.
As our Head of Sales AU you'll:
- Take full ownership of the AE function in AU, driving best in class performance across all metrics
- Drive strategic initiatives across the sales function, particularly as we work to broaden our top of funnel, and increase the breadth of functionality for our platform
- Proactively identify opportunities for development, put clear plans in place for improvement, and execute on these plans
- Stay up to date on industry best practices in terms of tech stack usage, team performance, activity, results and sales skills
- Drive performance of the sales team; ensure individual and team sales targets are consistently exceeded
- Manage performance of direct reports through regular 1:1 meetings
- Use of data and AI tools to drive decision making
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, CX and Commercial Operations
What you will bring
- Proven track record in owning sales functions and driving a high performance culture
- 3+ years of sales management experience, particularly in high-volume SaaS environments
- Ability to act decisively, and 'run through walls' to enact necessary changes
- Experience selling to SMEs in a fast paced sales environment
- Analytical thinking skills with a natural interest for all aspects of data, analysis and systems
