High School English Teacher

Commencing Term 2 2025, Moriah College invites engaging, experienced professionals to join its dynamic, collegial, and high performing English faculty. This is a full-time permanent position teaching stages 4 and 5. Interested individuals should apply promptly.

  • Be enthusiastic about their subject and want to inspire young people.
  • Provide high quality, differentiated teaching and learning programs and activities that are contextually relevant, promote independent learning and integrate relevant technologies.
  • Work as a collaborative and reflective member of the Faculty.

Experience Required:
  • NESA accreditation to teach in your relevant field.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Have relevant teaching experience in a High School setting with a passion for learning and teaching.
  • Have demonstrated experience in implementing educational best practice within their subject area.
  • Possess well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • A strong work ethic, displaying determination, self-motivation and curiosity.
