HR People Partner, Retail & Consumer - Sydney
The Opportunity
Reporting to a Senior People Partner, this role is pivotal in providing exceptional customer service to the Leadership Teams across various Retail and Consumer Distribution Centres. This is a true generalist role where you will drive a positive impact across all aspects of a team member's life cycle and partner with People Leaders to ensure their people objectives are met.
As the HR People Partner, you will:
Support the timely execution of people activities across the distribution centres ensuring alignment to business priorities.
Manage ER/IR issues end to end, providing advice, consultation and coaching to the business on relevant policies and industrial instruments.
Conduct workplace investigations & resolve disputes and grievances.
Support the development of project plans and execute on initiatives that support the broader Retail and Consumer People Plan.
Provide advice and support to managers with Workday tasks as required.
Facilitate some training programs to lift People Leader capability and ownership for HR processes and practices.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
Tertiary education in Human Resources, Business, Law or Psychology.
Working knowledge of the industrial legislation and employment law matters.
Working knowledge of HRIS systems & Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong case management skills with an eye for detail.
