Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for HR technology and business process optimisation? Do you excel in mapping out complex processes and ensuring systems run like clockwork? Costa Group is seeking an HRIS Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in the implementation and enhancement of our HR Information System (HRIS).

If process maps and test script development are your bread and butter, and you have a logical, structured approach to problem-solving, this is the role for you.

With regular interstate travel required, this role can be performed from our Head Office in Docklands, VIC, or near one of our many farm locations, including on the Coffs Coast, NSW.

About Costa

Costa Group is Australia's leading grower, packer, and marketer of fresh produce. We have a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability. Our success is driven by our people, and we invest in technology and systems that empower them to thrive.

Role Overview

As the HRIS Business Analyst, you will work closely with HR, IT, and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and optimisation of Costa's HRIS. You will analyse business requirements, design and document process improvements, configure system functionalities, and support seamless system integration and data migration. You'll also play a key role in change management, training, and ensuring the system delivers real business value.

What we offer

  • Flexible working arrangements: We value your well-being and prioritise work-life balance, providing you with the support you need to balance your personal and professional life.
  • Value-driven culture: At Costa, we foster a culture of care, ensuring our team feels supported and valued.
  • Recognition: Annual performance review process that celebrates your achievements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis & Process Improvement: Gather and analyse business requirements, consult with a diverse group of stakeholders to capture critical insights, document process workflows, and identify system improvements to align HRIS functionality with business needs.
  • System Configuration & Optimisation: Work with IT and external vendors to configure the HRIS, ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and validate successful implementation.
  • Governance & Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on system configurations, workflows, and governance processes to ensure compliance and consistency.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in HRIS implementation, configuration, and support - Dayforce experience is highly regarded.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field (or relevant experience).
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and process improvements.
  • Structured thinking on process mapping, workflow optimisation, and test script development.
  • Experience in managing HR system projects, process documentation, and supporting organisational change.

This role requires regular interstate travel and flexibility in working hours to accommodate different time zones and project demands. A key focus will be developing and maintaining comprehensive and accurate project documentation to support system governance and future process improvements.

Success in this role also depends on collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders across the business to gather the necessary insights for process mapping. Ensuring that system workflows align with operational needs while maintaining data accuracy and seamless integration will be essential.
