Join our dynamic Team at DHL Global Forwarding! We are looking for our next HR Business Partner to be based in our Sydney Office.

At a high level, in this role, you will:

  1. Provide consultancy and advice across all people-related topics on a geographic basis, with additional responsibility for selected key human resources pillars.
  2. Champion best practice people-related activities and outcomes, working with business/functional unit leaders and their teams with setting of HR strategy and action plans.
  3. Provide HR support and advice while at the same time project managing or supporting the roll-out of HR-related projects on a regional or local basis.
  4. Develop and support employee engagement and retention strategies.
  5. Build and maintain effective partnerships with internal customers, advising on people management issues, contractual and statutory compliance matters, performance management of disciplinary issues.
  6. Facilitate behavioral change in leaders and employees to drive our people and organizational transformation.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Providing sound and compliant advice relating to human resources/industrial relations topics.
  2. Staying up to date with changes to employment legislation, guidelines, and standards.
  3. Fostering effective communication with stakeholders, team members, etc.

  1. Solid HR generalist experience, preferably in a medium to large organization.
  2. Additional experience with Compensation and Benefits is highly sought after.
  3. A strong understanding of the industrial relations landscape across Australia.
  4. Skilled in communication including stakeholder engagement.
