Job Description About the Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Interface Manager to join our Engineering and Maintenance Delivery team.
In this role you will coordinate and manage interfaces between stakeholders external to MTS ensuring that external interests have no adverse effect on MTS infrastructure, safety or network reliability.
You will also ensure Interface Agreements are developed and maintained for interfaces between third-party assets and MTS managed assets.
On offer is a 6-month fixed term full time opportunity.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Liaise with MTS, external stakeholders, and maintenance service providers to consult, negotiate, persuade, and record agreements for the delivery of MTS business outcomes.
- Develop and maintain Interface Agreements for interfaces between external party assets and the rail corridor, in collaboration with the relevant internal and external stakeholders, defining ownership and maintenance.
- Develop operating & maintenance protocols and agreements.
- Manage maintenance interface between external parties and MTS that may impact existing interface arrangements and agreements and resolve issues.
- Manage maintenance interface between Sydney Trains and MTS and resolving issues or matters of concern.
- Review existing interface agreements and operational interface protocols and ensure smooth integration.
- Liaise with external parties and MTS stakeholders (Maintenance, Legal) regarding easement issues and ownership.
- Manage and oversee the close-out of external interface issues/concerns.
Desired Skills and Experience About You
You have extensive experience working in Interface management activities, with proven experience in project management and operational stakeholder requirements (rail industry experience would be highly regarded).
In addition, you will have the ability to establish strong relationships, influence and work in partnership with stakeholders at a senior level, successfully interacting with private and public sectors in a rail engineering/operating environment.
