Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled associate with at least 4 years of experience in international estate planning to join our renowned Private Client Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals and multinational families, providing sophisticated wealth management strategies and advice on cross-border tax and legal considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise U.S. and non-U.S. taxpayers on international estate planning and wealth management structures that accommodate multi-jurisdictional tax and legal considerations.
Work with foreign trusts, pre-immigration and expatriation planning, and strategies for purchasing U.S. property by non-U.S. persons.
Guide clients on compliance with tax and reporting obligations for those with interests in foreign accounts, corporations, and trusts.
Collaborate with our Family Office team, which includes multidisciplinary experts, to meet the corporate, tax, and transactional needs of high-net-worth clients and their businesses.
Provide high-level planning advice for U.S. citizens with assets abroad, non-U.S. citizens planning to move to the U.S., and multinational families with cross-border concerns.

What We're Looking For:

A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in sophisticated international estate planning matters.
Proven ability to advise on cross-border tax planning, foreign trusts, and multi-jurisdictional wealth management.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
A team-oriented mindset, with a focus on collaboration and finding creative solutions.
Effective problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to client matters.
Member in good standing in the jurisdiction where you plan to practice (required).
