How will I help?

  • Design, implement, and maintain microservices (APIs) using Spring Boot, JAVA, Struts, etc.
  • Understand end-to-end application performance and optimization techniques and tools.
  • Implement responsive designs with reusable and scalable UI components.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and debugging skills.

What will I be responsible for?

As a hands-on Java Back End Engineer, you'll use your skills in building, designing, maintaining, and testing for the development of our technology used by the Digital Consumer Finance technology team. You will engage with various stakeholders and become an expert in your domain while supporting the broader engineering community.

What do I need?

  • At least 4 years of professional experience.
  • Excellent analysis and design skills with technical problem-solving.
  • Experience with Spring Boot and Restful APIs in Java, J2EE, Struts.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Bit, Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
  • Understanding of Restful API design principles and standards.
  • Knowledge of API security and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).

Preferred:

  • Passion for automation.
  • Degree or equivalent in science, computer science, or mathematics.
  • Experience with Kafka.
  • Knowledge of cards and digital payments.
  • Innovative mindset and ability to keep up with emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with React JS, Redux, Node JS, HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript.
