As our Junior Legal Counsel, you will provide essential legal support and advice to establish UGL's position in contracts and ensure compliance with legal, policy, and authority guidelines. The role is based out of our North Sydney head office.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Counsel, Legal Managers, and Senior Legal Counsels in providing UGL's legal advice and assistance to protect UGL's interests.
- Engage in negotiating, drafting, and settling contracts for various projects, including complex heavy engineering and infrastructure projects, operation, maintenance, construction projects, leases, joint venture agreements, procurement contracts, and other commercial arrangements.
- Provide input on legal risks of tenders as required by the Legal Managers and the General Counsel and general legal advice as required.
About you
- Law degree and NSW legal practitioner (or eligible).
- Strong commercial and business acumen.
- Experience with construction contracts is essential.
- Knowledge of tendering and contracting processes.
- Strong communication and team player.
