The Opportunity

Davidson is on the lookout for a dynamic Learning & Development Advisor to drive the growth and success of our people. In this generalist L&D role, you'll take ownership of the learning experience within the P&C team, ensuring development opportunities are engaging, relevant, and high-quality. You'll work closely with our People & Culture team and business leaders to create impactful learning initiatives supporting our growth and transformation.

Key duties of the role include:

  1. Create, Design, & Deliver: Create engaging, tailored training programs for employees, recruiters, consultants, managers, and leaders, actively fostering employee skills, career growth, and development opportunities.
  2. Program Development: Continuously review, refine, and enhance all internal training materials, leadership programs, sales learning, and recruitment training frameworks.
  3. High-Potential Initiatives: Develop L&D programs to identify and accelerate career opportunities for emerging leaders and team members.
  4. Coaching: Support employees and leaders with hands-on coaching to build capability and performance.
  5. Strategic Alignment: Ensure L&D initiatives align with business priorities, performance goals, and budget considerations.
  6. Keeping Current: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in L&D.
  7. Data-Driven Insights: Provide leadership with training impact reports to inform smart, strategic decisions.
  8. LMS Management: Administer our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless tracking, reporting, and compliance.

Demonstrated capabilities for the role include:

  1. Experience in training, coaching, and team development within a professional services and sales environment (recruitment and/or consultancy industries would be a bonus!).
  2. Experience designing bespoke sales and leadership programs within a professional sales environment.
  3. Strong development, facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills and experience to drive employee success.
  4. Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continuous learning for everyone.
  5. Ability to identify needs, design, and deliver engaging, audience and industry-specific training programs.
  6. Professional or tertiary qualifications highly regarded.
  7. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Articulate, other development tools, and LMS systems.
