Working at CQUniversity Step into a pivotal role as a Lecturer in Oral Health, where you will significantly contribute to both teaching and research within the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences. In this position, you will engage with students through a range of teaching activities, both on and off campus, ensuring high standards in planning, delivery, and assessment to support their academic success. Your role may also extend to vocational education and training, provided you meet the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) requirements.
You will oversee the coordination and delivery of lectures, tutorials, clinical sessions, and research supervision at honours and postgraduate levels. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of curriculum and participate in meaningful research that aligns with your expertise. With opportunities to engage in professional activities and collaborate in academic committees, this position offers a platform to influence the future of oral health education while advancing your own scholarly career.

Position Requirements - Relevant qualification in the discipline area.
- Current full registration as a dental practitioner with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Dental Board of Australia.
- Professional experience as a dental practitioner, especially in working with dental therapists, dental hygienists and oral health therapists.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
- Understanding of current professional and educational issues in oral health.
- Strong teamwork skills with effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, with experience in multi-modal delivery strategies for student support.
- Ability to engage and collaborate with industry and community stakeholders.
