Job Description

Lecturers contribute to the teaching, learning, and related academic development activities of IHM as well as developing scholarship, research, and professional activities relevant to discipline or interests. Through strong academic support and knowledge, lecturers liaise with students, support staff and other academic colleagues to maintain excellence in teaching, engagement, and support within the Institute. Lecturers also contribute to scholarly curriculum development and are proficient in teaching, tutoring, and Clinical facilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in alignment with curriculum standards.
  • Design and assess course materials to ensure academic rigor and relevance.
  • Provide mentorship and academic support to students, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
  • Contribute to research and innovation within the Centre of Excellence, promoting best practices in education.
  • Collaborate with faculty and industry experts to enhance curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Participate in accreditation, compliance, and quality assurance processes.

Qualification and Experience:

  • PhD or Master's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching, research, and curriculum development in higher education.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
  • Ability to integrate innovative teaching strategies and emerging industry trends.
  • Commitment to academic excellence, student engagement, and lifelong learning.
