We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Brisbane Property team on a full-time basis.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join our Brisbane Property team on a full-time basis. As a Legal Assistant you will display initiative, professionalism and high attention to detail with experience ideally within a Property Law practice group.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the preparation and finalisation of legal documents;
  • Conducting and compiling corporate/property searches;
  • Maintaining and updating deeds/precedents/client databases;
  • Billing, expenses management and preparing/sending bills;
  • Being across billing requirements for clients with specific billing and reporting requirements;
  • Liaising with clients;
  • Coordinating and organising team meetings/events/travels;
  • Mail merging, formatting and collating documents;
  • Answering phone calls and assisting with client enquiries and
  • Providing ad hoc general administration duties and assisting to other areas of the business when required.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience as a legal assistant. Property and/or Planning experience will be desirable but not essential. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills with a client service focus. The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong attention to detail and have a proven history of meeting deadlines.

Please note, the standard working hours for this role are between 8:30am to 5pm.
